Premises liability claims can include:

  • A fall on some ones property
  • A dangerous condition on the property
  • Injury caused by defective construction

The term premises liability refers to a potential claim that may be brought against a property owner or manager for failure to maintain a safe property. It is also sometimes called a “slip and fall” case. It would be nice if it were that simple. Unfortunately, the Colorado legislature (and many other states) have passed premises liability laws which make it very difficult to figure out when someone is or is not responsible for causing an injury to another person who is on their property.

Not only is it hard to understand when someone is responsible, it is even more confusing when you have to figure out exactly why that person was on the property and then try to put them into category such as invitee or trespasser. For most people, this is confusing and burden.

Over the past 32 years, The Law Firm of Jaray and Webster has successfully handled thousands of premises liability claims. We also offer to help people navigate through the settlement process on their own. We would be glad to help you as well.
