Dave has been practicing law in the State of Colorado since 1997. A Colorado native, he grew up in Denver, Colorado and received his undergraduate degree from Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Dave attended Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington, and obtained his Juris Doctor in 1996. He worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Trinidad and Colorado Springs (where he gained most of his trial expertise and received awards from the District Attorney on three occasions for his trial work). In 2007, he left the District Attorney’s Office and joined forces with Ken and in 2008 they formed the Law Firm of Jaray & Webster, LLC. Since that time, Dave has continued doing some work as a criminal defense attorney, but has mainly focused upon Personal Injury and Worker’s Compensation.
Sebasti “Emma” Webster is a seasoned attorney who heads the Family Law Division of The Law Firm of Jaray & Webster and Colorado native. Although her primary practice area is Family Law, she contributes to our Personal Injury, Worker’s Compensation & Criminal Defense cases as well.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Webster worked as an attorney with the Deputy District Attorney’s Office of the 4th Judicial District in Colorado Springs. At the District Attorney’s Office she handled cases ranging from traffic offenses to homicides and domestic violence matters.
After leaving the District Attorney’s Office, Ms. Webster worked at private law firms gaining extensive litigation experience in the areas of Family Law (Divorce and Custody), Criminal Defense, and Civil Litigation.
She is passionate about helping people through tough times. Her background in Criminal Law is particularly helpful to Family Law clients who face Domestic Violence or Substance Abuse issues that surround their Divorce or Custody issue.
Ken has been practicing law in Colorado Springs since 1979 after graduating from CU Law School in Boulder, Colorado. He operated his own law firm from 1981-2007 and formed a partnership with Dave Webster in 2008.
Ken takes pride in his work as both a lawyer and community member. He has received multiple awards for his charitable work in the community and he has been recognized on multiple occasions for his dedication to improving the legal profession. Most recently this included his receipt of the prestigious Ben Wendelken award recognizing Ken’s dedication to excellence as an attorney. He believes strongly in the use of alternative dispute resolution methods as an alternative to litigation and is heavily involved in working to make Restorative Mediation an option for individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others. He is also one of the original founders of the Pikes Peak Challenge which is an annual event for the benefit of survivors of traumatic brain injury.
Senior Paralegal – Personal Injury & Worker’s Compensation
Cindy joined the Law Firm of Jaray & Webster in 1999. She has numerous years of experience in the legal field and heads up the Personal Injury & Worker’s Compensation divisions of the firm. Cindy plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day running of the Civil department and ensuring that deadlines are met and the firm is operating at maximum efficiency.
Cindy received her ABA-certification as a Legal Assistant in 1990. She is knowledgeable, detailed, highly organized, and self-motivated. She is the primary point of contact for clients who have questions regarding a Personal Injury & Worker’s Compensation claim.
Senior Paralegal – Family Law
Born and raised in Bamberg, Germany, Jessica came to the U.S. in May of 2000. Having to start a new career in this country, she found her passion in the legal field and obtained her Associates Degree in 2004. She entered the area of family law and realized right away that she found her field of choice, which for the last 9 years she has built experience and great working relationships in this community. She went back to college to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in paralegal studies and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2012 from Everest University. She also previously worked closely as a volunteer and intern with CASA of the Pikes Peak Region and TESSA. Jessica recently entered a new endeavor working as a German translator, interpreter and teacher with the Foreign Language Center.
Jessica previously worked with Sebasti Emma Webster and was excited to work with her again and the team of the Law firm of Jaray & Webster, LLC when she joined the firm in June of 2013.
